There can always be a gap between what the policy is vs. what is actually being enforced vs. what they let go when someone disregards either. There can be a difference in practice between restaurants, or between CM’s at one restaurant. You can go tomorrow and have one experience and I may go the next day and have a different one. It could depend on how busy they are at the time, how well-ventilated the venue is, or how we treat the CM’sI don't think it's being misconstrued in practice. People are reporting on this site and others that table service restaurants allow diners to take off their masks while at the table and ask them to put the masks back on when they leave. It seems pretty simple.
I'll be at WDW soon, and we have reservations at several table service restaurants. I'll ask them what's expected and report back.
Therefore, IMO, everyone who decides to go should be wiling to follow the printed policy to the letter.
I encourage all to show respect to CM’s by putting on your mask when placing your order or asking questions. You’re not the ones taking the risk, they are.
