"New" Refillable Mugs.

It's not just for soda - every morning I would fill mine up with coffee and go back a little later for a second cup. I can fully understand why Disney went this route what with some folks trying to get something for nothing.

At the risk of sounding like one of the free refill stealing vacationers ...has anyone tried bringing back ones that were activated for a 3+ day visit to see if they would continue working?

God I resemble that statement...10000 bucks later....don't know why saving a buck can mean so much to me when I'm at the the 5 figure outlay point....

There is no refill time limit (or maximum) for water, iced tea and coffee. The water dispenser on the machine isn't turned off, just the sodas. And there are no readers on the iced tea or coffee machines.

I think cost is what compels people to squeeze Disney.

I don't see people at my local fast food joint reusing paper cups from previous visits, or bringing their own mugs to fill. Grimey.

Meh...it happens. I have even had people bring back all you can eat salad plates from previous visits and try to use them at the salad bar.

Yes
...of course ...had people not been unethical greedy thieves over the years and brought back mugs from earlier trips ...or their own 'mugs' that were bigger than a half gallon thermos ...this may have never come to pass.

THIS.

However, I will still buy a new mug (when the design changes) because I like to collect them. They make great conversation starters at work.
