Ok.... so maybe it's not completely new, but starting on 06/10/2005 Cinderalla's Royal Table will start offering a
character lunch.

I suppose this is good, no - great - news for the thousands of families with young girls, but I have to admit a little disappointment over thinking it is going to be hard to get that lunch priority seating for the best meal with the best view in the Magic Kingdom.

Oh, well. Such is the price we pay . . . I guess it is worth it for more of the little girls to be able to have a one-on-one with Cinderella and the other princesses. :animwink:

I don't belive there is offically characters at lunch and dinner before. I know that we have ate there in the past (just 2 weeks ago for dinner) and there was Cindy and Mary Poppins in the lobby, but it is not billed as character meal before now.

I think that is great news. Do you kow what characters do they plan to have and I would guess it will be an all you can eat thing. I know CRT is very small, I wonder how they are going to work it.

The new character lunch will offer a family-style salad and dessert to share along with a choice of one of 5 adult entrees
or children's favorites and non-alcholic, non specialty drinks.

The pricing is $23.99 for adults and $12.99 for children.

The Characters are the same ones that attend breakfast.

Wow, that is ALOT for lunch. That is as much as dinner at 1900 Park Fare and Dinner is often a few dollars more then lunch. Breakfest is around 18 a person right? (that is normal).

Still since I am a mother to TWO princesses I guess I will be going some day (much more likely then the breakfest.)

My only problem was I liked doing lunch there before, now it will be much harder to get into to.

I consider this to be great news! Last November, I couldn't get into the breakfast so I booked lunch at Cindy's and a Storybook breakfast in Epcot. My cousin was disappointed and wants to try again for the castle this November. Now I have twice as good of a chance of getting the ressies for the castle/princess meal! I just hope that the food is as good as it was. I really enjoyed my meal last fall!

Epcot lunch and dinner - Princesses

I have a PS for Epcot Princess StoryBook dinner in April, so I assume it is either started, or close to starting. They are taking PS for it (and lunch too)!

Actually, from allearsnet the dinner at 1900 Park Fare is:

COST: $27.99/adults; Children 3-11 $12.99
If I were Mickey, I'd be a little cheesed because dinner with Cindy is $1 more than dinner with him (at Chef Mickey's)!!

Actually, I'm kind of glad they are adding a lunch. I was planning to go back in December and bring my 10 year old god daughter. I am not a "breakfast" person so it is nice to know that there are options.
