The walls were up for a few weeks, but they moved around behind the carousel depending on the sections they were working on. I think the fact that they were raising the elevation slightly made their stay longer than if it was just a straight replacement like other sections.

Those walls are back... but this time on the side of the carousel facing the former Snow White ride, creating a rather narrow walkway there (pic taken on Saturday):

I took a closer look while walking around, and I think the concrete work is completed behind and to the side of the carousel heading towards Peter Pan. On this side of the carousel, the incline from the old to the new concrete is more noticeable, so it looks like along with the section currently behind the walls, one more section (closer towards the new castle walls and Friars Nook) will have to go behind the walls yet.
