New Park Idea

I just had another Disney park idea. I'm not sure if it has been thought of or not. It would be located in WDW of course. The theme is Disney's America. It would have an attraction or ride for every state in the U.S. It could have rides such as a lilo-stitch themed Hawaii ride and a boat ride through Louisiana, a taxi-cab chase in New York, an escaped mine cart in California, etc. It would be an awesome park to visit. Let me know your thoughts and opinions.

Great idea but I don't think that every single state could have an attraction. Maybe between restaurants, shops, and attractions every state can be showcased =) Awesome idea... it could be a very diverse theme park, which is great in today's market!! :slurp:

Great idea, although I'm not sure every state could have its own ride you could combine lets say CT and RI into one. NH and vermont could be one ride and so on ...

There was a park planned for the Washington DC area named "Disney's America". It had a Main Street USA like entrance... and it focused on America's greatest times. There was a river rapids ride, and an in-door roller coaster themed to the Industrial Revolution. The concept was dropped when local farmers wouldnt give up the land or something..I know there is some concept art out there, but you will just have to look for it..


Nice idea.. but the park would be way to big....

The "Disney's America" park was quite different than this new idea. It focused on American history. This new park about the 50 states is a great idea! You can incorporate a few states into one attraction and give it a clever name, killing several birds with one stone. Some more interesting states can have a number of elements.

They would never run out of ideas I imagine! What a great country we have here!:sohappy:

Disney already beat you to the idea...It was original supposed to go in D.C. That would have been a cool idea. But I couldn't see a ride from every state though. We could make it kind of like Epcot with the World Showcase, but instead just have like 13 of the states, around a lagoon area.

Like someone else said, you could represent some of the less "s e xy" states with shops or food locations. For example, you could theme a quick-service bar to Delaware and call it "First taSte."
