No, only one discount per package.

Does the email PIN code have to be sent directly to you to use it or are they available online to share? I would really like to go for the first Star Wars Weekends, May 21-23, unfortunately I don't have the money to pay for it right now, we're waiting for the tax money. This gift card thing sounds pretty good tho, esp with SW Weekends.

Okay, so I have a couple of question about this deal. Can I book the deal and when I get to WDW use the gift card to purchase park tickets for someone else? I know I have to purchase park tickets for myself with the room to get the gift card. Also, it says in the rules "select participating locations". Does that mean not all gift shops and restaurants inside the park will take the gift card? Just trying to figure out how we can use the gift card to see if it would really be worth it for us. Thank you!

Those who purchase an Annual Pass should be purchasing it for the many days of admission that it includes. Those who purchase it just for discounts are usually disappointed in the long run.

AP holders and Florida Residents are always the last to get room discounts.
Sometimes true but not lately for us. We received a pin code back in June which allowed us to get AP rates for our trip in December which was six months out, we also received another pin in October letting us get a deal all the way out to June 010 which is 8 months out! That's unheard of and unlikely to happen if you don't have an AP.

Pin codes have to be sent directly to you, and used by you. The gift card offer is open to anyone.:)

This deal has been available in the UK for about two months now and is the reason I switched travel agents as my original TA wouldn't apply this offer without first cancelling my booking and stealing my £600 deposit.

I immediately cancelled and rebooked with another TA and saved enough to cover the original deposit and got an additional $500 gift card to spend when I visit in May.

Name and shame time for UK members, avoid Thomas Cook. :fork:

Okay, maybe the last question about the details of the offer. I know with the Fall 2009 dining offer you could buy a one day admission ticket to get the dining offer. I understand that you have to buy at least one 5 day theme park ticket. My question is if you have two adults in the room can only one buy the 5 day theme park ticket or do both? Thanks in advance for your help! :xmas:

No, I'm afraid everyone in the room must have the same admission type for this package.

We just decided to take a spring break trip, but it HAS to be the week after Easter since I'm a teacher. Is there anything available for me other than the AAA discount on the room? Our tentative dates are 4/3-4/8. Looks like we're screwed.

I just booked Mine and My girlfriends first trip to Disney! We were wanting to stay in the Pirate water view room at CB but for some reason my TA said that those rooms don't apply for the gift card? thought that was a little strange but we still got a water view and everything so it should be fun! :sohappy:

I guess this is taking place of any free dining plan for Spring 2010. Which probably works out to be better, since you can use your gift card to pay for your food and still have some left over (depending on how long you stay).

My fall trip may have just moved up to April...

Those rooms do qualify for the gift card, but maybe there weren't any rooms with this offer available the week you are going.

I saw it says a 5 day minimum - could I book a 7 day trip and get this vacation deal as well, or is it only with a 5 day ticket?

-Bryant

The word "minimum" should clue you in. That's the least amount of time you can stay in order to qualify. They would of course prefer you to be there longer.

I am a teacher myself and we tend to get the short end of the stick each year when it comes to discounts. Last year was the first year we got a deal with the buy 4 get 3 free deal. I find that many times the good deals end in the beginning of June, which teachers in the Northeast like myself can never use, and then restart in Aug. when we are getting ready to go back to school. I know many of you are saying stop complaining you have the whole summer off and I am grateful for that and I did choose my job, but when it comes to a Disney vacation we are stuck going at the most crowded times and at full price. While the rest of you can go at any time with no crowds and sometimes awesome discounts. I still love Disney and I fight the crowds every summer with my family, it would just be nice to save a little in the process.

Teachers do get lots of other perks, including exclusive discounts at some hotels, and I think som special tix deals at other parks.

You are absolutely right, there are discount programs for teachers. The only thing is you must belong and pay into your state's teacher union to get the discounts, so to get the discounts you need to pay for them first.

Any of the May crew using their gift card for dining? I still haven't decided if I want to keep the quick-service plan or not.

That's my plan! I'm getting ready to book the AKL and grab my $750 and use it for food and then have some left over to other stuff!

Sounds like a good plan to me!
