New names for MK lands

I was wondering, since MK has been known for so long about their "seven" lands, if some parts of the FLE is going to have a separate name to itself.

Since Toon Town is going away, it would leave only 6 lands so does anyone think there will be a separate name for perhaps the circus themed section or some other re-naming throughout MK?

I often wondered this too. The Welcome AND Trolley show even have lyrics.
"A castle leads the entrance way, to 7 lands and more."

They'd definitely have to change both these show's lyrics if 7 lands weren't kept.

When Disneyland opened it featured Main Street, USA and the Four Cardinal Realms of the Imagination, but today has eight according to Disney's count and nine if Tony Baxter had had his way. The Magic Kingdom opened with six lands, and did just fine until the late 1980s. Disneyland Paris still only has its five original lands. Tokyo Disneyland has seven and poor Hong Kong Disneyland only has four, with three on the way. I think the Magic Kingdom will do just fine if/when it goes back to six lands. The seven lands are really only ever mentioned once you are heading into or inside the Magic Kingdom.

Hmm, never actually thought of this. I'm assuming they'd change the lyrics to fit the actual park, we'll see.

Enter the park in Old Timey Land and take a hard left before the castle to cross the bridge into Funkytown. After leaving the Pirates attraction, you will soon be in Western Frontier Land until you enter Colonial Corner. Go up the hill to Fairy Tale Wonderland which has been newly expanded and that will lead to Circus Land and finishes in Alien Land.

That should just about cover it, seven lands just the same as always. :lookaroun

I have not been in Mickey's Star Land/Birthday Land/Toontown Fair/whatever it is called this week, since 1990.


I'm not sad to see that it will be demolished for something better.

Fantasyland will include the forest. And say "Hello!" to the new circus pitched up next to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. :animwink:

I think Adventure Land should have the newly rebuilt Adventurer's Club!

JK! While that would be fantastic, I think they can just add it Fantasy Land Forest or Circus Land as the final 7th land.

But the 7 seems to be a part of Disney and WDW. The Seven Dwarfs, Seven Seas Lagoon, etc... I think the Fantasyland Forest name is a great name and would make perfect sense....... (thanks Vernonpush).

Although it exisited as 6 before, removing one doesn't make sense.
