New Mummy video!

Screamscape has given a link to www.usf.i8.com which has a new
video for Revenge of the Mummy the only problem is it's a dead link for me, anybody else having that problem?

Yeah I got it ok...but...umm...it looks as though it's a video of news footage...and it really doesn't show all THAT much.

It shows concept footage of a skeleton/mummy doing the standard "scare you as it jumps out of a coffin" routine...and then it almost looks as if you enter the mouth of the mummy (like in the sand from the movie) then it shows a temple...and the face of the statue disappears into flames..but it's really bad footage.

Yeah the video aint to good at all, I wonder how they are gonna make us go through the sand head, I hope its not just gonna be a movie screen following the coaster through the ride.

Supposedly the "sand head" will be projected onto a mist screen that the coaster can actually go through. Like Fantasmic projects images on water, this will project images on a thick screen of mist/smoke. Whether it will look great or fuzzy is something to find out opening day

As for the video, it only had a VERY short part of a computer representation of the ride. Someone above described it pretty good. It looks neat, but the part they show really reminds me of the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. (Just the whole temple thing with an animatronic Mummy in the beginning (ala Indiana Jones animatronic at the beginning) and then a large face looking at you on a temple wall and fire bursts, etc.)
