Should COP be updated? It depends on what they plan on doing with the attraction. If the only plan to keep the attraction seasonal, then I don't see any reason to update the attraction. Why poor money into an attraction that will be open for less then a fraction of the year. If they plan on keeping the attraction open on a normal status, then updating it would not be a bad idea.

If they do decide to do a renovation, I'd hope they'd move CoP to year round status. You're right that it wouldn't make sense any other way. But with Disney, you never know.

to me, the attraction embodies a great deal of what progress is about. so...along with this line thought, the ride should be updated to keep this spirit of progress
