New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

New on the Left, Old on the Right. Looks as if he got a brand new look altogether. Slight changes but everything has been modified in some way or the other. Mouth is not as open as it was, overall color has been given more detail and is brighter, the arms aren’t rods anymore etc.

I love how the newer design for Mike look more brighter and made his arms look less lanky. Was that photo taken at Tokyo?

Even in a stage show, Mike can't catch a break. First he accidentally sprays himself with pepper spray and then he falls on his eyeball.

The new one is a massive improvement. He looks more welcoming.

Now Mike won't worry about losing his arm anymore.

Mickey and Minnie's new heads has been at the Walt Disney World version of Fantasmic for months now. I believe it happened sometime last Summer.

I remember Tokyo still used the 1978 heads for Mickey and Minnie up till the early 1990s.
