Wow. Tokyo's is so much better. There are many MANY more characters in Tokyo's... including Mickey and Minnie in REALLY cool costumes. Plus the Stepmother and Stepsisters... and mice...UGH... I'm terribly dissapointed.

Thanks for the video though!

We were trying to decide if Cinderella was prerecorded, but she didn't really talk all that much.

I don't know about all of Cinderellas speaking parts but she was wearing a mike on the right side of her face...it is white and blends in really well. You can see it in this picture.

Great Video!!! Only one question tho, do they have walkthru access at the castle totally restricted now or do they still have access at some parts during the day?

You can enter the back of the Castle for the resturant/shop, but the front entrance is blocked off, along with the two slopes that lead up to the castle entrance.

Great video!!!

I notice the little things, so I liked when the Cast Member was preparing the pyro for the Fairy Godmother entrance and did the princess wave while she was up there. (I guess I am a little corny like that :hammer: )

Hey TK,

Technical question for you. Does that video camera you have upload to your computer in progessive scan or is it interlaced. If it's interlaced...what program are you using to correct for it? It looks awesome:)

I thought the show was really great...i havent seen the tokyo disneyland video, but i have seen images and it's stunning, but i really liked this one too, people are complaining about Human Beast,No evil stepsisters and lady tremaine, and no fab five...i think it's mostly cause they wanted it to be somewhat realistic...i didnt mind the changes...only certain things i would fix.

1.When Fairy Godmother says "bibbidi bopitty boo" at the end another set of fireworks should spark out maybe from the top spire of the castle.
2. Ther should have been more interaction between Cindy and the other princess' like a small photo op pic kinda thing before everyone exit's.
3. include a night time performance...this show would look thousand times better if it had one nighttime showing.

All in all i enjoyed it...anything new in disney that celebrates wishes, and dreams and seeing the cindy all pretty is a great show too me.

Great video! Thanks again. :)

As for the show, nothing too amazing, but its nice and something new and is very well done. I agree with the post above that dropping the stepsisters and not filling the stage with the fab 5 as the Tokyo version did was meant to keep it a little more elegant and tasteful, as well as the smaller available stage size at the MK (when all the royal court and prince/princess pairing are dancing, the stage is filled). Although, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to bring them out with the royal court in the beginning, just for the heck of it and because it makes little kids go crazy. Its really nice if it were a real coronation, but I think it lacks a certain edge to make it exciting and to insure that it keeps guest's attention, which is always geared on the idea that there something is better around the corner they could be doing. Still though, I like the overall classiness of it (both in costuming and music/songs) than the previous Suprise Celebration show. But like that show, I will probably watch it once in real life and then never again. I've never been big on castle shows for some reason...although I did like the Every Day's a Holiday show from long ago.

Wonderful video and kudos to the cast and crew.

Does any one else find it a little refreshing to have something like this without the VIPs in it? Of course, I'd rather them than some blue alien...

Actually, I find it refreshing as well. Probably the thing I like most about Cinderallabration is that it is not another show where the "good" guys (the fab 5 and princes/princesses) are having fun and then the "bad" guys try to take over and then of course good triumphs all (think Fantasmic, Wishes, Cinderella's Surprise Celebration, even the Share a Dream parade to an extent). Cinderellabration is very royal feeling and looking, imo (although it bridges on the edge of getting boring in some spots as well)

I probably wouldn't have a single problem with Cinderellabration if there was another stage show at the Magic Kingdom. Cinderellabration has a limited appeal and audience. Let's reopen the Galaxy Palace Theater or the Golden Horseshoe.

I agree, adding the bad guys trying to attack would have been rather repetitive...see me and my friends will love this show even if i agree it does get rather boring at times, mostly because we love the princess' and my girl is obsessed with cindy. I will probably watch it twice when i go in july...once in the day and once at night (hoping there is). one thing that probably wouldve been a more attention getter is if lucifer was chasing the mice through the coroantion and causes a stir for a second...it wouldve been pretty funny.

I still think they should extend the show just a little bit (if it's a good show people won't mind standing too long, look at the california fantasmic!) and make it just once a day (preferrably nighttime with all the lovley effects on the castle) to make it feel more "special" I can understand the cutbacks in characters and such but it would be greatly appreciated if they can have Cinderella enter with the carriage like in Tokyo's and introduce the guests first before she arrives...not to mention the royal fab five. (I'de request the stepsisters and tremaine for a bit of slapstick but that would be pushing it) and why can you have human Beast but no human Ariel? (sorry, deranged Ariel fan here) and the Tokyo finale where she rides in the carriage with the prince would make for a good final interraction with the audience (the meet and greet at the end of CSC is what makes it more appealing)
