New Map for DHS

They're still calling it "the Animation Courtyard"?
Soon to have a big change with a reimagined exhibit called "Bob Iger" One Man's Financial Dream

Looking at this map... you might as well rename the park "Disney's Dead End Kingdom".
I have complained about the parks narrow and poorly designed walkways for years since the original Backlot Tour closed and the Streets of America became accessible. MGM was never designed for people to be walking through half of the park they did before Saturdays closing. The current changes are making it even worse, but I would hope that DHS finally gets some real changes in its infrastructure and accessibility.

Phase 3?? I hope not! Phase one and two seem to be already being, umm, how do I say this nicely? Financially adjusted :(

I'm still wondering how the transition is going to work with Muppets basically an island unto itself. Is there any overlay of the two lands on the current park itself?

Haven't been around too much, so I don't know if someone was technically industrious enough to do this...

My last visit to the park was awful. Way too crowded and congested and not enough to do. I left after two hours. I know some positive change is coming, but as of right now this park is just awful. I'd take DCA pre-2012 or Walt Disney Studios Paris over DHS right now.

Even if the park is more beautiful in Orlando, in Paris you can spend a whole day in the park with: Ratatouille, Crush Coaster, a couple of kiddie flats (Alladin, Cars, 3 rides in Toy Story Land), Cinemagique, Studio Tram Tour, Tower of Terror, Armaggeddon, Rock N Roller Coaster, and the stunt show. They should have cloned Ratatouille (cost about 150M Euros).

I went in DHS in January 2016 and was bored as hell... Worst Disney park in the world right now IMO.

Oh no, my bet is still on WDS taking that prize. It's like a tarmac mess.

I wonder when all is finished with Toy Story and Star Wars lands. Will there be a section in between the two new lands that they could use to flesh out the Muppet courtyard a bit more? Maybe another ride/show or exhibit, something...
Will have to wait and see I'm sure.

I would say all the land between muppets and Sci-Fi and the Great Movie showbuilding could be used for a small muppets expansion. I've shaded it on the below map

Me neither. No (actual) Animation Courtyard, no One Man's Dream...and if the Tower goes, DHS is dead to me.

And if it does go...what's going to save Hollywood Boulevard? Or the Great Movie Ride? The whole park will be devoted to Iger and Eisner's acquisitions. Yes, Twilight Zone isn't a Disney creation, but who cares, it's the ride itself, its atmospherics, its lavish theming, its masterful storytelling, its amazing effects, that makes it perfection. It has all the hallmarks of the best of Disney Imagineering. A company willing to destroy something like that isn't a company I can patronize anymore. When I read about the GOTG remake, it felt like something in me started to die. Maybe I've just been in denial for too long. The Walt Disney Company isn't Walt's company anymore. There's nothing left of him in it. It's just a brand factory run by coldhearted thickheaded moneygrubbers. It makes me very sad. It's even gotten painful for me to visit here now, because none of the news about the parks seems at all positive anymore. It's just cutbacks and cheap cash grabs and horrific price increases and good things being destroyed. How could things get so bad?
A classic "Disney is doomed" post! :)
