New Log Cabins?

Yes they do because only X FP are issued per hour and you cannot return BEFORE your window as you could with paper tickets and if the FP line was light the CM would allow you in.
True, but the point being made was you can jump in the standby line if all FP are gone, and the more unused FP, the shorter the wait in theory. So it's not really the same as booking a site and not using it. Personally I don't think Disney really cares if people do this, but they will keep pushing the price up based on false demand which affects everyone who books there.

As far as FP goes, I actually prefer the current time requirements even though they can work against you. If they determined an attraction can handle X amount of FP an hour, then it's counterproductive to allow early/late, especially when the system now allows modifications to an extent.

Not to be this "loop hole" to death, but I think that the issue that I have with it isn't that the poster found and is taking advantage of booking a site and using the benefits, but that it they are tying up TWO occupancies--the campground (which I didn't realize are very hard to book) as well as accommodations at WBC. So even though technically, yes, they are paying for both accommodations, they aren't occupying them. If this were to occur during high season and the demand for rooms were extremely high and it was preventing people from booking, then it does become, as one poster put it, "selfish." I think if you're not breaking any rules, the bottom line is you have to be comfortable with the decisions you make. Until I joined this forum, I never would have dreamed of doing half the things people do on this site (some bad, most good).

Someone with zero concept of morals and ethics. Someone who thinks rules are not meant for them. Someone who doesn't care about the lessons they teach their children so then their children grow up with the same morally corrupt ideals. Someone that thinks it's cool to brag about it on a public forum and doesn't realize how corrupt they actually are. Just my opinion of course.

Oh please. Get off your high horse. They rented the space for the price being asked. No laws were broken. Tell me you don't make ADR's that you end up canceling a day before? I think it was a smart move and there is nothing to stop anyone booking multiple spots if they so desire. I have a friend (a very rich friend) who always books three rooms together, though he stays in the middle one. It's to keep others from not hearing him through the walls. So, he just took two rooms from someone else. All's fair.

I seriously wonder what the demand is for the campsites these days. My mom went from 74 until about 1990 and only camped at Ft. wilderness. I've never stayed there myself but I've never heard anything about occupancy numbers.

RV camping is extremely popular in Florida, I do it my self.

Are we still talking about the unused campground bookings? Speaking as someone who actually does RV at FW occasionally, I wish more people would book there and then not show up. Would mean I have a greater likelihood of actually receiving the internet hook up that was included within my purchase fee.

Furthermore, if Disney is having trouble with this, they'd be far better off just charging an "onsite but offsite" fee, of equal value to a FW camp spot, to those who want it. Cheating the rules is one thing but Disney set the system up this way and has all the power in the world to change it if things actually become a problem.
