Probably the artic better than antartica, then you get polar bears, seals and walruses etc. That could be quite good but will never happen!

They should make a Taj Mahal replica. I don't know what there is to do in the Taj Mahal and I am hoping I have spelled it right so the other thread does not come over here and police me. YIKES

If it did not cause too much of an uproar (and it probably would) it would be interesting to have a dark ride, much like SSE, that went over the world's religions with artificts, art and history. Not what the religion means, because that would just freak folks out, but with a cultural/educational slant.

Actually that sounds kinda boring but it could be made fun with a little Imagination...! :lookaroun

australia i would say would fit in perfectly at AK.

with aboriginy (sp?) artwork and instruments they could have and animals like koala bears and even though they have kangaroos more would be nice lol, they could even have snakes and insects too.

even though koalas are fragile i think if they did like a special tour where you could hold one properly it would be ace!

I've always thought the arctic would make a good addition. Mostly because Animal Kingdom has almost nothing indoors to get you out of the hot florida sun. Plus everyone likes to see polar bears...:xmas:

I am hoping they convert Dinoland into Austrailia by removing the un-Disney Dinorama (but keeping "Dinosaur") and theming the whole area to Austrailia. Should be enough space to add an Austrailian animal trail and another smaller attraction in addition to Nemo and a themed TS restaurant.

....and Penquins! Which is why it should be themed to both poles (if they build it)

You are right there is plenty of space if they add no more live animals exhibits. But if they do they could use up the available space very quickly as the area required to support and care for the animals is quite extensive.

Not quite; do a thread search and you`ll see whilst DAK has large parcels for expansion it`ll need to be done carefully since there is a finite ammount of space in that area of WDW that can be built upon.

Such a ride sounds doable and if done right, it could be a good ride. The biggest problem I see with it, though, is that I don't think it would fit into Animal Kingdom, as I don't see what it has to do with animals. It may work in Epcot, though.

I have always thought it would be neat to have an Australia land there. Until reading this thread, I had never really given much thought to having the entire land indoors, as in the North and South Poles. But that does sound interesting. Maybe have a big indoor area with the Animal exhibits, then have some other stuff outside, like a ride themed to the Arctic somehow, or a show, or something. Maybe a dark, slow boatride that floats past scenes of the Poles, like AA Polar Bears and such. And maybe, like in Maelstrom, have a big creature (in this case, maybe an angry Polar Bear perhaps) that makes your boat change directions or something.

As for the indoor animal exhibit, Disney would need to put their own unique twist on it in order to keep it from looking like a copycat of SeaWorld's Wild Arctic.
