So Tokyo is losing about half of Tomorrowland for this and keeping Toon Town? Why is Toon Town so sacred?
They even had an interactive section in Goofy's House!Their Toontown is much nicer than their Tomorrowland. It's an improvement for fantasyland to be taking over what it is.
Yeahso, are they keeping toontown?
fantasticYeah

when is it???
well not technically D23 but the Major ones will be released at OLC's shareholders meeting on the end of October. D23 will just be half Tokyo Half other parks and its a 1 hour presentation. OLC next focus is really re imagining tomorrowland, well stitch encounter will only last a couple of years while they are brainstorming on what to put in there. They might resurrect Sci-fi city(Tomorrowland 2.0).The full details most likely to be revealed at D23 Japan.
Cinderella's house could have been cool, but I prefer keeping TTafter Fantasyland next focus of OLC is Tomorrowland and

Fun fact is that before DisneySea was built, both tomorrowland and Fantasyland was supposed to have a re-do and an expansion. and toontown was to be a transition of Fantasyland with european like structures. But the funds went to Disneysea instead.
Back in 2010 OLC was supposed to release Fantasyland forest together with Orlando's Fantasyland. Opening date was in tie-up with the 30th anniversary (2013). but it got scrapped again in 2011 because of the great earthquake. the funds then went to building power plants instead, some people said that building the power plants was so expensive that they needed to cut the budgets on other things such as a downgrade of seasonal shows. and in 2014 OLC finally announced Fantasyland Forest with Alice,Beauty and the Beast and the New Small world and Fantasyland Theater.
Cinderella and Pixie hollow areas would have made the cut but then they have to take out toontown .
You know if the money for those lands went to DisneySea, you could only imagine how nice that area in Fantasyland would have been.after Fantasyland next focus of OLC is Tomorrowland and
