There is a "new" parade to replace Spectro.... Disney's Electrical Parade.:shrug:

The last I heard Spectro should return looking better than ever (and potentially somewhat different here and there)
IllumiNations: Skydance was scrapped from what I was told, but elements of it and WOC should be introduced to plus ROE, possibly starting as early as Q1 2011.

Umm, no that's a used up second hand parade. There is nothing "new" about it.

I am hoping the spectro rumor is true because spectro is way better parade than msep imo. I am also hoping that they will update illuminations since it is really in need of an upgrade.
Also did you hear anything about when spectro will come back.

I hope they never replace ROE. Its a work of art. Just plus it with WoC or BraviSEAmo type of water effects during the middle section of the show.

Since I've never seen MSEP, it IS a new parade for me! Now, if I can just get back to WDW to see it before it leaves!:lol:

I agree IlluiNations is getting VERY old. The show needs a refurb for sure. SpectroMagic could use a good upgrade as well, though I'm one of those who thinks Main Street Electrical Parade is the vastly superior parade, especially with the new LED lights.

It's worth the trip. Go see it! Best parade in the world.

I would love for ROE to have WOC touches. That would be awesome. I bet it would have character tie-ins. That would be okay with me though as longs as it didn't overdo it.

They could project updated images similar to what appear on the spinning globe on WOC type water screens at several different points around the lagoon. Maybe they could even put smaller screens in front of each country and images from that country would be projected onto their respective screens? I would love to see them plus the show, and I know it would cost a lot of money, but adding more water effects, and maybe even effects we've never seen before would give the show something new and exciting!
