New Hotel at STOLPort site?

According to Wikipedia, Disney is adding The Tipton Hotel (based on the hotel on Disney Channel's Suite Life of Zach & Cody) to the WDW property. Could this be the rumored STOLPort resort? Can it be the rumored EPCOT monorail line resort? Could it be both? can anyone clear this rumor up for me?:veryconfu

* This hotel will be the newest of its kind, with Disney's newest Monorail Mark VIII going right next to it and also the newest of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts as well. It has been rumored that the new river that will lead into the hotel will give the hotel a nice water theme and have the possibility of Disney's newest water park to be built adjacent. More information to come as it is released!

It sounded a little fishy since Disney has never based a hotel after a Disney Channel program, but i was putting it out there because it sounded interesting and I wanted generate possible themes for a possible new resort/hotel

Thats a cool idea but that show has only been around for like 2 years and those cute little boys will grow up sooner rather than later and the show will go off the air and we will be left with another out dated Honey I shrunk the Kids type of attraction. Plus the Tiption is in the city if i'm correct how will that work with huge pine trees next to it. Just some thoughts :confused:

At the risk of sounding like a whining b****, why do so many people quote this fake reference? Wikipedia is soooo riddled with myths and errors... why would someone use it for info?

From what I can tell from the information after it, it seems like the hotel would be more water themed than anything else. Maybe it's two different possibilities they're looking at...or they'll get them together. I think the water theme with the water park behind is more of a realistic idea than something based on a new show.

Again, I was only trying to generate possible themes for the rumored STOLPort resort. I didn't really think that was going to happen since Disney Channel shows usually don't last very long. I would really like to see a resort themed after the Great Lakes and its Ports, tying in with water theme WDWScottyBoy mentioned.

On a side note, I cant figure out why the Studios have not put in a House of Mouse resteraunt that shows old Disney cartoons while you are eating. I just knew that would go over great. It could be a character meal as well....

I agree, i wish that WDI would do that. My brother and I thought that would be a cool place. MICKEY MOUSE CARTOONS ARE TIMELESS!!!

Yes! maybe the house of mouse could be their next big hotel and its feature restaurant would be like the show

With so many past and current ideas on the table for a resort (I'm assuming) I doubt they would go with some hotel based off a fairly new show on the Disney channel.

A fantasy themed resort is what is still needed...the other MK themed lands are represented around the lagoon.

But hey...ya never know.....makes for good conversation though. :D

I always thought a value resort themed after Mickey Mouse would be a great idea. Each building/section themed after a different Mickey movie: Steamboat Willie, Brave Little Tailor, Nifty Nineties, The Clock Cleaners (or whatever it's called w/ Goofy and Donald) and Mickey's Beanstalk.
