If we're speculating on where WDW could place future Skyliner lines (assuming they want to), the most bang for the buck would be to connect Animal Kingdom with its nearest WDW resorts: All Stars, CSR and AKL, with the hub near the AK parking lot. Those might be about as easy to install as the current Skyliner and would meet their goal of moving as many guests between resorts and a park as possible, for as little expenditure as possible. That's my 25 cent bet FWIW.

I would think the hub would be somewhere near Blizzard Beach's parking lot, then you connect 2 parks (in Uni's mind at least) and at least 4 hotels (Kidani is technically separate). A transfer line over to HS wouldn't be totally out of the question, with an inline stop at the newly built Star Wars hotel.
Of course that line would be PACKED being the route between two systems servicing 3(4) parks with 8 hotels on it...

You won't see any stops at the Star wars hotel as that's a boutique resort for only 2-3 night themed stays. I don't believe there will be any bus service for parks to it either. It is a destination all too itself, unless Disney changes that design.

There's reported to be a bus - interior decorated to make it feel like a small space shuttle instead of a bus - that will take you for your "excursion" into Batuu. But that's it. No other transport service as you indicated, because the rest of the time you will be "on board" the space liner.

I‘m excited about the Skyliner. I love all the different types of transportation in and around the property. I’d love to see them add more Monorails, self-driving electric buses, canals for more boats, moving walkways, and a Wedway used as actual transportation. Moving people around quickly, cheaply, and safely is difficult, but the parks can provide a great opportunity to implement new and creative approaches!

Really. That's the best you got? Actually you made a good point. With the bus stop near the lobby/food court/store many people including ourselves will hit the food court/store for stuff before going onto our room. It will be a longer walk, which some may not do now.

Either way, you're bound to earn another badge from your Fitbit or pedometer!

All of the walls are gone at the International Gateway and only rolling bushes are up. The station looks great!

I’ve been aboard many a monorails over the years with broken AC. At least the Skyliner units have ventilation.

Some of the older resort buses have been nasty warm too especially when guests are packed in. Skyliner at least has a human Max vs yellow stuffed to max line.

I am not the demo...but In talking with numerous other locals/fans, they all can’t wait to ride this thing. I just don’t see the fascination.

I’m a Passholder...friends with longtime cast...(former cast myself)...never pay for parking!

I've used the boats between EP/DHS twice over the last 17 years. Both times we ended up with a boat with an a/c unit that wasn't working. There was only 1 window open so there really wasn't any kind of draft. It was in the mid to upper 90's the days we rode and I think it had to be well over 100 inside the boats. I swore I would never ride them again. After our first ride, we were told by many people that the no a/c thing was a fluke -- rarely happens. So 4 years later we figured we'd give them another try. Ha! Same thing happened. When we were at Disney last summer DH & I wanted to hop to DHS from EP and we chose to walk to the front of the park and take the bus rather than take the boat. Even with claustrophobia and acrophobia, the Skyliner is far more appealing to me than the boats.

ETA: We've also been seated in the very back row of some of the older buses and the engine (or whatever) throws off a ton of heat. It felt like the heat was on -- the rest of the bus was fine. It's hotter sitting there than being outside.

Folks, I read a review from a brave soul who rode the Skyliner yesterday. They were delayed for 6 minutes in the air and watched the temperature sky-rocket from 91 degrees to 92 degrees. Let's take this to its logical conclusion. Imagine you are riding while there is lightning in the area but it's still sunny, so your gondola stops. Then there's lightning sporadically for 3 hours. The temperature will continue to rise. I enlisted the help of 36 statisticians and one bus driver to generate the following:

Remember that the system is actually supposed to be safe during lightning. Stopping it is for an abundance of caution and Guest perception.

I am facinatated with a new view of the resorts and parks. But, this fascination is fueled by my hatred of the buses. Too many times I have sat there waiting and waiting, watching 3 All Star buses go by, but none for my resort. Then it's standing room only, and I got a stroller wheel on my left foot, and some kid with a 3/4 eaten turkey leg on the other. Both me and the kid hate the family of 3 that has 5 seats taken up with one sleeping toddler and a backpack bigger than my carry on suitcase. The buses suck.

Give me a constantly moving line and a guaranteed seat and I am happy.

Skyliner is several orders of magnitude safer than driving your car.

Also it's faster from hotel door to park entrance than driving your car... but thanks for your valuable contribution to this discussion.

Or you could point out that temperature/time graph was flawed, because at 105 degrees, the cable melts, and you fall into the gator pit.
