Well, maybe if you were as dumb as some of us morons, you'd have seen the discussion about the contacts, battery box, wires and charging rail earlier in this thread.

But you're clearly smarter than that. ;)
I saw that but someone also claimed the box was the door mechanisms and that was all I could see last week standing next to them. If that is a battery then I stand corrected.
I am clearly smarter than most on this thread.;) Or at least I think so.

Rerouted how? Is entrance to the World Showcase still accessible through the International Gateway?
(Need to be able to walk from the BoardWalk to France for my breakfast each morning! :hungry:)
Yes it’s open.

The ticket booths have walls behind them across the whole way. The original exit is split to be the entrance and exit. The actual park entrance is moved wayyyy down the path towards UK with temporary readers.

I rode the new gondola servicing the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Colorado today. For some perspective on Disney’s schedule, this project began on October 29, 2018 and the new gondola reopened March 16, 2019. This included removal of the old gondola. Many of the new cabins were stuck on a ship that arrived in early April. The park closed for 3 days this week for the rest of the cabins to be launched and load tested. 3 days. It was supposed to be only 2.

The Disney schedule is so far out of the norm for these types of lifts. Will be worth the wait though!

Are the stations more elaborate at Disney? Just trying to understand why it is taking so much longer.

Not sure if I am a big fan of them just dangling on the line when not in use. It will look kinda cluttered about property. Maybe they have to do due to capacity reasons but it surely would look better if they were stored for the night.

Not sure of the logic here, they will be hanging on the line not-moving at a time when most people won't see them. Will it not looked cluttered the rest of the day when most guests will see them?

For sure it will look cluttered, that is the down side to the project in my view. But at least moving it will look better, I think. With the gondolas so close to together and very low its a weird vibe. At least for my eye. The area from the Springs to the swolphin has lost its charm as of late. Parking garages, roads like L.A., gondolas every 20 feet, it's all just very hectic, utilitarian. I get the transportation needs but the world has lost its peaceful natural beauty for the most part. Progress I guess.
