Blue! no Red! Ahhhhhhhh......Laden or unladen?
Uh... having watched how the "getting in and out" sometimes goes in buses and monorails in WDW, this is not what I'm personally counting on for things to run smoothly! I'm counting on the below, or something like it not to slow the system down...Because, ordinarily, without a second pull-off for ECVs, ECVs should have no problem getting in and out of a gondola. The pull-offs on the other stations is just gravy.
As a skier, its done all the time. As I understand, when the gondola grips detach from the cable and travel separately around the wheel, they're able to remove/add cabins. I've seen them add in a cargo cabin to bring supplies up to a peak lodge, and it doesn't interrupt the rest of the loading process.
Those people don't have shopping bags, that is nothing like DisneyI've been in Breckenridge for the past week and am right next to a gondola station. We rode it down to town the other day but unfortunately it closes at 5:30 so we had to take a bus back.
While it's only 1 line it has 4 stations and is the most similar to the Disney gondola in the US in terms of laout and purpose.

Gondola on wheels...
Those don’t have level loading.
Buses an monorails require a special ramp to be brought in to load an ECV, the gondola does not require this, the ECV can roll right from the platform onto the gondola car. With that said, the extra loop at the stations may behave as discussed "below", they may be able to stop the cars on that loop if necessary.
I’m referring to the many people in ECVs in WDW who don’t use them on a regular basis and can’t appear to control them well. Have that video? Here, I found this on a secret thread on some obscure site...
Oh god the dining gondola at the end, I can see the Disney upsell in our future.Aplogize if this has been linked already but CNet had this little video posted about the new Big Sky lift that uses the same drive system as Disney. Interesting information indeed on how the system works.

I don’t have any updates.Any updated word on gondola cabin production? I think rteetz reported in December that was the main issue causing delays at that time.
I don’t have any updates.
They will be hard to hide, so as soon as they show up on site someone will probably report it.
Too soon.Unless WDI secretly removes them.
Thank you for posting this! It's finally happening!
