New Frozen Show replacing Aladdin at DCA

The Black Hole was an unimpressive Star Wars rip-off. But Maximilian Schell was great.

I thought the main problem with The Black Hole was that it didn't learn anything from Star Wars. While movies like Star Wars and Alien were rapidly advancing the look and feel of science fiction films, The Black Hole felt like it had been made 25 years earlier than it was.
What makes you think it's a ripoff of Star Wars?

The Black Hole just felt like Disney jumping on the bandwagon after Star Wars and Star Trek.

I think it was the acting style of The Black Hole that made it feel out of place for when it was released. The movie is basically 20,000 leagues beneath the sea in space and had the same dialog style. It felt more like a drive in movie from the late fifties or sixties.

Trying to catch up and skimmed through the thread so I maybe repeating some things that have already been said.
It had a great run, but Aladdin’s time has come. I would catch the show as a break on a hot day, but that’s it.

I am so over Frozen, but this is a good fit and hopefully this will allow some of the other Frozen offerings to go away. It’s in a place that is easy to avoid if you don’t care for it, instead of some of the previous offerings that have been harder to avoid.

I’m not sure I see Muppets return since it was such a low attended attraction. It maybe just a flex space until they find out what to do with it permanently.

On a somewhat related note I just returned from Europe and they seem to be over Frozen as a lot of us here are. When “Let it Go” started during Disney Dreams at DLP there was a very loud groan from the audience.

And in an unrelated side note, if you ever happen to be near the Netherlands I highly recommend Efteling. What a fabulous theme park and has a lot of the same charm that Disneyland has and in some cases used to have.

So, let's play a game.

It's called "What's Gonna Happen" and here's how it goes: we make guesses as to what will happen to a certain attraction.

First, we'll make guesses as to what will happen to the sing-along. Will Disney A) bring back Muppet*Vision 3D, B) keep the sing-along and have two Frozen shows in the same park, C) let the space sit empty, D) use it for more movie previews, or E) something else?
