New Frozen parade float for Soundsational

You know what's funny?
I have a 5 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. We have Frozen on DVD and I recently picked up the soundtrack. My 5 year old has all the songs memorized and sings along on each of them. I usually play the CD on the way to school. When she gets out of the truck, I usually turn it off. So, the other day the boy says "NO, I want Let it Go". Unless something else comes along better, I don't see Frozen going away.

Let It Go is my 1 year old's 'calm down song' on long drives. The first time I tried it when she was crying about the long drive, I could not believe it worked. I knew she liked the song, but she is only 1 so I was like no way will this work. Well is did, and still does

I shall be scoffing in-park & strategically placing my fingers in my ears as I chant "Lalalalalalaaaaaa..." The movie is meh. The screechy song is like nails on a chalkboard. I'm so sorry for parents who are stuck with that. Then again, I survived Barney.....y'all should feel bad for me. ;)

I know. We found we could drive a 1 yro Chandler around the Earth & back with a VCR/tv combo & a couple Barney VHS tapes. It was a happy/tragic day. But parents do what they have to. I've kept a get-even list. ;)

Haha. I wish the music I listen to would calm her down. No such luck.

You may not like Frozen...but Barney is much worse!! :)

God bless you. Eventually you DO get to drove the cars they pay for and listen to your favorite songs sipping your sippy cup. Today, for instance.... Barney in my car to Zac Brown Band in his Mustang:

I was in Disneyland a couple of weeks ago and saw the people sprinting from the front gate. There was one dad that was sprinting and dodging people left and right from the entry gate only to get stopped at the entrance to the Hub by a rope. The funny thing was is he went flying past me going under the train station and when we got back to the Anna & Elsa line he was right in front of me in line. Just goes to show you being in a hurry doesn't always pay off.
