I always envy those lucky people who were there when the wand was coming down and they could just pluck the sequins and lightbulbs off.:lookaroun:lol:

The wand was merely okay. I still think that they could have come up with a better, more futuristic adornment for Spaceship Earth for the Millennium Celebration.

They thought of one...They wanted to cover SSE in screens, remember? It was logistically impossible, though.

Thats probably why it was never done. :lol: Some kind of fiber optic lighting thing to outline the triangles would've been neat (was that ever thought about? I want to say it was...). Imagine if the Castle Dream Lights were spread all over the triangles on SSE... :eek: Would've been a pain to maintain, but I bet it would've looked cool. :cool:

I've asked around, and it actually would be possible to install lights IN SSE and under the Triangle Alcubond to shine out.:D I had always though that strobes would work nice...A glimmering pattern across the face of SSE....
