I can't switch my way to view the forum. It lets me check a different one, but reverts to "default" when I save my new preference.

The same thing happened to me when using the site from my mobile this morning. I wasn't sure if it was just user error.

It could be a mobile thing. I'm always on the iPad.

It could be user error. I'm a dope, as far as tech stuff goes...and many other things, as well.

Nice job with everything, and thank you. I really like the fact that you've length-limited some of the longer posted replies; yet, the option is there for people to click on more of the quoted posts if they desire.

P.S. Yesterday I was on the forums and then all of the sudden it said the forums were on "down time". Was it because you were working on these new (and awesome) features?

What style are you trying to select on the iPad? Are you logged in at the time? How quickly does it revert back to the default after you make the change?
