Florida law says structures 200 ft and taller have to have a aircraft light.
However, this is measured from base to top, not necessarily street level.
For instance, ToT is 199 feet tall, to get under the statute, however it sits on a man made hill. The net effect is that from Sunset to the top of the tower is over 200 ft.
Therefore, this 200 ft mtn. could actually be higher, depending on the grade of the land it sits on.
