Daisy is getting a backdrop somewhere near her current location. I would venture to guess that is what the permit is for.

*Sigh* yet again they get to ruin another peaceful and quiet spot of the Entrance plaza...I assume it's where the old Leave a Legacy kiosk used to be?

Seems harmless as long as it does not create a visual intrusion. The entry plaza has more of that then seems reasonable.

Yes, France will have it's M&G to the right of the bridge when crossing over from International Gateway. (currently a section of land being used for the M&G is outside the Park fence) It is currently designed to be a gazebo style similar to Tiana's at MK w/DPI setup

The Front of Park M&G will be located to the West of SSE where the picture kiosk was for Leave a Legacy. This will be a standard style M&G with a backdrop and DPI setup

So what you're saying is only your favorite characters can stay? So what about everybody else's favorite characters?

I was thinking that the photo they used is that of stock photos from 15 to 20 years ago.

Also, why in the world does Disney have to file a "permit" to do something in their own parks? I understand that in order to build anything major (and even that seems a stretch since they pretty much run the show down there anyway), but to have to file a permit to put characters at the entrance? o_O

They seem to be adding more and more indoor meet n greets at all the parks and i am all for it! Yes it is nice to have characters out and about the parks, but the idea behind it seems to be that they can get more time out of the characters if they are in the air conditioning rather the blazing sun in the middle of summer! I just hope that the ques for all these meet n greets are well themed! I would much rather me indoors myself! Some of those lines in the heat make me sick I can't imagine what it would be like to have to wear a costume Ike that in the heat!

But those costumes have built in A/C, mini fridges, and cable television. :D

If they are building a new "permanent" meet location, back drop, props, etc. then I believe they still have to file paperwork. Just like if you make changes to your house. If they went and just stuck it all on wheels, then no big deal. But if they break ground, run power, etc, I believe that all needs permits.

God bless the "Ignore" button.

The benefit of having FULL indoor locations is that Belle and the other "face" characters could have multiple "personal biographers" each day, possibly in multiple rooms! Obviously the theoretical gazebo won't offer that, and I kinda' doubt it'll mean Beast is out any longer than he already is, assuming it is Beast and Belle who are in there.

Okay that makes sense. I thought they were just going to put some characters out front on the side. I didn't see why they would have to have a permit for something like that but if they're going to build a building or build a structure of some sort I can understand the permits.
