Oh so that is why my Comcast bill was always so high.. definitely wasn't spent on improving the service

Indeed. They were actually tested in the outdoor parking lot. In full sun.

From what I know car #13 has been cannibalised for parts over the years, hence when one goes down they have to run a five pack with no working spare to plug the gap.

I rode with the ride in five-pack mode last October -- no blue car filling in for the missing one.

This must be very recent, because I've been on the ride a couple times within the past few weeks and haven't seen it. I'm very doubtful that it's any indication that the whole attraction will be updated, though. I seem to remember the cars being this color before, too.

UoE is one of my favorite rides, and not only because it's one of the only EPCOT originals (more or less) left. It's definitely an entertaining way to relax; not so much informative these days with the out-of-date info, though. Like the rest of Future World, it needs attention. But I'd rather they do something worthwhile with WoL and Imagination first.
