I haven't heard anything about this until today's Blue Sky Disney Blog Post. Apparently there is a new Dragon that will debut in Fantasmic, but it doesn't specify whether this is at the Studios or Disneyland.

It was fantastic. Oh, and for those of you waiting for Fantasmic!'s New Dragon to appear later this year. It looks pretty swanky. Much more detailed and representational of a fiery beast than the original. Fans will not want to miss the introduction of this new addition. Or "lavish enhancement" would be better words.

:) That sounds very promising. I would be glad to get a new dragon for the show. Hopefully Disney will think of updating the show a bit. The Jafar snake is L-A-M-E.

He's referring to Disneyland, which is getting a new dragon. Haven't heard anything about WDW updating their show...would think it's rather unlikely.

You know what, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this puppy is for the Studios. Yep. Orlando's gettin' the luvin'.

Its for Disneylands.....Its been long rumored since last spring after F! came back from refrub with the new lights and finale, with the other addition of Floata and Jetsam to the Ursula scene. Its suppose to be featured in the June media day...

Unfortunately, it's for DL. Vivian (our dragon...yes, she has a name :)) just got a face lift not too long ago, and she's still looking pretty darn fabulous.

If anything, we need new projectors. That darn House 3 projector's been faulty for years now.

I'd like to see them go with digital projectors like DL did.

People always seem to look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them the dragon has a name. Sort of like when I tell them the name of the T-Rex over at Islands of Adventure's Jurassic Park River Adventure. I guess they just don't think that animatronics can have names? :shrug: :lol:

I doubt Disney will ever update our Fantasmic! Why update a show when your audience will more than likely never see it again. There is no repeat visitors at World, remember? :hammer:
