New Disney Website Problem

Has anyone else had any trouble transfering their rez info over to the new site? When I enter in my confirmation number I get a message saying something like "reservation can't be found as entered.."

I know for sure I entered everything in properly.

Could it be i'm not going until about this time next year? Or is it simply a case of bugs in the new system?

I logged in to the old site and while my resort reservation was there, my ADRs were not. I was able to pull them up on the new site. From this board I have learned (among many things) to keep the confirmation emails sent to me when I made the ADRs and have put them in my phone calendar so I can easily find them. Now that I've pulled them up on the site I printed all of them out and will take that with me as well. :)

Note sure how your phone works, but I put the reservations in my phone and then put the confirmation number in the "Notes" area. I haven't actually had to pull up a confirmation number, but it's reassuring to know that it's there.

Called last night about pass holder issues. After that was squared away I too asked about our missing ADRs. She assured me they were ok. They know there are issues and it may take a few days to work them out. I did notice the WDW dining isn't working today. Maybe it's being fixed as we speak.

A new insult...

It appears that as of today, Dec 18th, the WDW IT Brainiacs have put a permanant redirect into the OLD site. You may now clear cookies, and it won't do you a bit of good.

Much of the new site is broken. Besides ressies, the "add an AP" page is broken. The AP offers page will NOT work with IE - it WILL work with Chrome.

After the last IT atrocity (the AP FL preview), coupled with this mess? I believe it's time for WDW to find themselves a CAPABLE head of IT.

Thank you for that! I was also wondering why I can't view the AP offers. Super fun to deal with!

Update 12-26...

WDW website disaster continues :(. New website - can't register a new AP (no way to do it), can't get calendar info for more than one day at a time. IF you use IE, you will be trapped here.

Old (now modified) website - you will go here if you use chrome. Reservation details are all down, CAN register an AP, CAN get a detailed multi day view of the park calendars.

It's a great time to suggest to WDW that they need a REAL, WORKING CIO :). No, it's not one issue... it's a history of poor performance.

I wrote to Disney to ask them why I couldn't access any of the passholder offers, this is part of the reply:


We are sorry for any disappointments experienced with the Passholder website. You may wish to know other Passholders have reported experiencing a similar issue. Please continue to check back for updates. In the mean time, please call 407-560 PASS (407-560-7277) for information on exclusive Passholder offering.

I wonder why they think I would be happy to know that others are experiencing the same problem. I'm not very computer savvy but I would think that DISNEY would hire people who are!! What's up with that?? Of course I still can't access the offers but at least I can call and remain on hold for hours to get the information that the computer can't give me!!o_O

I tried twice to make a dining ressie. No luck! I called and after going through everything with a CM and my credit card, she said that the server was down and to call back another time. Very frustrating!!

The new site is being rolled out slowly to random people. It is pretty, but there are quite a few issues. I wouldn't worry about not having it yet.

Thanks, i feel a lot better now, i started to worry for a second because a few weeks ago it worked perfectly fine and i got on time after time. I can plan my trip on the my Disney experience app on my Iphone but i prefer using my laptop. Do you know when it will be fully out for everyone to use?

Nightmare continues. Have been on the phone with Disney for 3 hours today. My resort reservation has disappeared from the website, have called and been told it's in the "new system" now but not visible in the old system/website. They claim it's a glitch between ME and the reservation so any reservation inquired on with ME disappears from viewing. Yeah, ok. Just to be sure, I asked to pay it off in full. They said they can't process any payments either but would send me an email to reassure me the reservation still exists. That was 6 hours ago-still no email.

I envy you. No reservation, no email. Spent another 90 minutes on the phone tonight. Constant reassurance my reservation is there but can do absolutely zero to prove it to me. I never thought I would have a day I actually became unhappy with Disney....but it has finally happened.

i had trouble with existing reservations too, even when i tried to put them in manually. makes me all warm and fuzzy with their implementing all the new technology with the key cards etc...

I had this problem with my trip from the 16-20. Thankfully i had printed copies. I think they are still working out the kinks. I miss the old site :(

At first, the resort reservation numbers were not recognized by the system (it still does not recognize some), now the dining reservations are not recongized correctly. Half are connected to my reservations and cell the other half are somewhere else and got connected to my home phone. I made all revervations at the same time under my resort reservation and cell.

When the ADR's were converted the numbers in my phone number were jumbled up, I just had to call them and have them correct the phone number and email (if needed). As soon as I refreshed by screen it was there.

I called and asked for help and all I got was Disney speak "we are working on it"- I was able to input my resort reservation # and one dining ADR- then the next dining ADR would NOT recognize my phone #, no help from the so called dining help line.:( I am ticked off about having to go in and manually re-enter all the ADR's that I took time to plan & the new system doesn't show my request/allergy info. New site= Big stinking pile of mess !!!

I agree, the new site doesn't show our celebrations and when making a new resi you can't add a celebration easily. It's a little bass ackwards.
