Don't worry, I have a feeling that the whole Plaza is going to be redone, and those whirly-gigs probably won't be around much longer.

That what my feeling when I saw the comparison picture. The whirly gigs match the old color scheme, but not the new unless they are repainted. I personally wouldn't mind if the whirly gigs were taken out. They sort of have a 90's aesthetic look to them that is a little stale. Am I the only one?

I think they look dumb, not futuristic. So their removal would not upset me in the least!

I think most of us want to see them gone. They're just a hollow attempt to make the park seem more exciting, when all they do is just clutter up the Plaza.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the obvious: the new colors clash with the old ones. Jewel-tone blue and lime green simply don't match salmon pink. The Innoventions reboot continues...

Though the kinetics now don't really fit well with the greenish colour...

Exactly. And with that in mind, give it some time. Its too early to judge right now.

I do believe that this is an improvement over the faded blue and purple that was there before. And it matches the new respective floor designs. So far so good.

Don't forget that the faded blue was relatively new, as if they were testing a color scheme.

Green and blue are the new, in vogue, colors of the future. I like the idea of cool blue and silver as a general color scheme for that area better, but this new paint job does not "not" work.

Its not to bad really. What would have been really cool is if they used the changing color paint, its all heat sensitive so during the day its one color and at night a different color.

Exactly. I think I'm happy with it unless it gets too garish. Something nobody mentions is the unique "hardware" attachments. I like those too. But if the plaza turne into the rainbow style that used to adorn Energy it will be too carnival-like.

The makeover of WDW moves forward. Way to go TDO! :sohappy:

I'm starting to assume (as was discussed months ago) than one InnoVentions building will be shades of green and the other one in shades of blue.

As for the plaza itself...I hope they remove the tarps, whirly giggs, and make the pavement one shade...the triangular pinks and whites are too much IMO.
