I have no problems with that, so long as a show doesn't cross multiple cicada cycles..God forbid the average guest wants to see a fun show with Mickey in it...

PLEASE let it involve these, Disney:
Haha, us too. My family and I are creatures of habbit. Heaven forbid we go a different way!I think this is definitely going to help traffic flow and this is great that the castle will be open to the public, but It will not directly effect me while entering the park because I always go down Main Street and make a left turn to Adventureland, but while exiting the park I might use the castle.
I agree, I think there could be a way to access the stage without using the castle as their "offstage" retreat. I can't remember what the utilidor map looks like, its been a few years since I did the keys to the kingdom tourHaving visited the Magic Kingdom frequently since it opened, I have always been disappointed to see the murals in the castle breezeway not available for viewing by the public. First they covered the murals on the right as you entered the castle from Main Street, so that they could have a place to mount the forecourt shows. Then the finally stopped all traffic a few years later. I'm sure Walt would never have permitted this to happen. The work which went into these murals is truly spectacular.
Why the people responsible for mounting these shows cannot find another way to get the cast into costume and access to the stage in another manner I cannot understand. With todays technology they should be able to access the stage from its underside and fully open the breezeway within the castle. After all - the castle and main street are the second floor of the Magic Kingdom.

There is simply no other space that allows for the cast to change and break in... This is the way the castle was designed and there really is no way around it.Having visited the Magic Kingdom frequently since it opened, I have always been disappointed to see the murals in the castle breezeway not available for viewing by the public. Well that couldn't be further from the truth. I'm sure you'd have another point of view if you were actually in the department.Entertainment gets WHATEVER they want, while other cast members have to fight through unions just to get fair treatment. No further comment.

Wasnt the dream suite used for some of that prior to conversion? Or were the older shows just not in need of that much room? There is simply no other space that allows for the cast to change and break in... This is the way the castle was designed and there really is no way around it.

I've never heard of the use of that area for entertainment... I'm pretty sure it was always vacant until the dream suite. Plus, the castle stage green room has been there forever...Wasnt the dream suite used for some of that prior to conversion? Or were the older shows just not in need of that much room?
I seem to recall a peeping tom in the castle year and years ago...
There is no way to access the stage from underneath out front (even the techs have to access underneath from the doors in front of the stage)
Then how about we just get rid of Dream Along With Mickey all together? I'm pretty sure the general consensus is that we would rather be able to enjoy the castle as it was intended, instead of being restricted by a stage show that has outlived itself.
Again, not quite. You really should see the thousands of guests who enjoy and really get into watching each and every show. Then how about we just get rid of Dream Along With Mickey all together?
