new belle meet and greet photopass question

Hi all! I have been reading the new Belle meet and greet experience info. I understand you get a special photopass card with pics for the entire interactive session. Which is great. But....how do these pics get added to ur photopass card and photopass +? The same way any other card does? Is this not a privacy issue? That means anyone in that interactive experience can get pics of you and your family right?

Thanks!

I assume..same thing when Taejan was in the Pirates training..he was only in the last little bit but the photopass card we got had every picture from the entire thing on it. The photographer had a stack of cards and handed one to each kid. I have maybe 8 pictures of Taejan the rest are all of kids we don't know..

You can add them the same way you add any other photopass card. But since they are shooting pictures of so many different people at once, instead of trying to break them all out into different cards, then give everyone who participated a copy of all the pictures. The same thing they do at Jedi Training and did at the P&F M&G. I think expectations of privacy go out the window when you are in a public place participating in something in front of other people. Odds are, you have already appeared in other peoples Photopass pictures in the background. And I know that I ended up with 2 or 3 on ride pictures that weren't mine on my Photopass+. If in doubt, use Marilyn Manson's method of foiling the paparazzi. Just write something vulgar on your face so they can't use the pictures. Maybe "Harry Potter Rocks!" or "TDO Needs A Shakeup!".

if you mean physically how do you add them to your order, then yes, just like any other photopass card. when you are on the photopass website, you have the opportunity to put in as many photopass card numbers are you want. at checkout, you pay per CD,not per number of cards added.
good thing not just for group shoots like this, but if you forget to bring the original card someday, you just get another one. good thing, my goofy brother and wife ended up with about 15 when i went with their family. thank goodness i had them take pics of each card as they got it so we had the numbers. yes, i know my brother, knew he'd lose them all.

So since you had Photopass + did you go to the photo shop and have them add on your card number and pics for the Pirate Training? And then all the pics of everyone were there and did you just delete the ones you didn't want? I'm assuming that is how it works but I was just wondering.

Ha! So silly! :) Thanks for the info!

we got a card from the Jedi training this year with all participants photos on it. We added it to our photo pass CD. I thought I had deleted a lot of the pictures off my account that weren't of my family but some i thought I had deleted were still on my CD. Regardless, getting the group PP card was a lot more convenient than having to sort through the pictures at a photo shop at one of the parks to get the photos put on an exclusive PP card

We did both JTA and Enchanted Tales with Belle a few weeks ago and they are quite similar when it comes to Photopass. The photographer will take hundreds of photos of the entire group and you get a special Photopass card at the end of the attraction with all the photos on it. The difference, however, is Enchanted Tales with Belle has a new design on the front of the Photopass card that is "branded" just for that attraction! It has a picture of Belle with her signature on it and says "Enchanted Tales with Belle" at the top. It makes for a simple yet nice (free) souvenir.

As others have commented, you can either add ALL the photos to your individual Photopass card/account or you can stop at the Photopass store and have them only add the photos you are interested in. I found the latter to be pretty simple - maybe 5 minutes total. They show you 10-15 photos at a time on a big screen and you tell them which ones you want to keep. At the end they will transfer just those you picked onto your card and you're all set.

Is this not a privacy issue?

Maybe... I don't know. I'm no legal expert. But you probably get "caught" in other people's photos all the time and don't even know it. Especially if you walk up-and-down the middle of Main Street! So not a big deal IMO.
