I can’t even see the “Reserve Dining” option on the Beak and Barrel page. Is it showing up for others?

Here's a direct link that should work once they work out the technical issues: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dine-res/dining-event/beak-barrel

Did reservations ever actually open? It says everything is sold out.
Yes, they did open at around 11:48 p.m. and they disappeared after about a minute. I tried to get one for 11/10/2025 which was already sold out apparently within seconds. Some other dates were still available with reservation times showing up. The site crashed during my reservation process.

I think the emergence of a middle-ground between restaurants and bars 100% plays into a societal shift. By that I mean the emergence of breweries and similar type experiences over the last 10-20 years where these settings allow children because it's outdoors or for other reasons, has shifted society's opinion of what type of alcohol-forward experiences are acceptable for a child to be around without causing consternation.

I personally was raised my parents who do not drink, but I choose to socially. There are others who are raised by heavy drinkers, and followed in those footsteps, or did a 180 and don't drink at all.... plus every option and opinion in between. You'll never convince all of society to agree the role alcohol should play in these types of settings. The only obvious thing here is that Disney has leaned heavily into and agrees with the profit opportunity that comes from these newer alcohol-forward settings and thinks that the concept is socially acceptable enough to introduce into the parks.
We frequent breweries/distilleries as two 50 year old empty-nesters and every single time we go to one, I am shocked at the number of young parents who set up camp with their babies/toddlers and hang out. A bar (because that's what these are, BARS!) is not an appropriate place to hang out with your children.

Im all for parents getting to enjoy themselves but im shocked by this too(although at Disney im fine with it)...We also frequent the local breweries around us in MA and its crazy to me the kids just running around like its a playground. Last week we went to a new one and a baby was in one of those walker things just cruising around the entire bar banging into chairs and tables. lol

Yeah, it's pretty gross. Especially in WI where the drinking culture is associated with literally every aspect of life here. Guess ya gotta start 'em young.

People on Reddit are having a breakdown about the reservations not loading. I think everyone just needs to breathe. It’s not going anywhere. If you don’t get in you’ll get in some other time. At the end of the day, it’s just a lounge.

I think it looks cute, I’m not sure how I feel about it at MK but we know times have changed and the thought of a dry park I guess just was forfeiting too much money to Disney.

As far as kids/babies at breweries etc I don’t agree with it and don’t think it’s a great idea to have that be some their early memories. But of course people will do what they will do.

That's crazy they're postponing the reservations. Are they just kicking the can down the line? Is there going to be an announcement, or just keep checking for days and hope it works? I feel like whenever they postpone it to will just have the same response.

Take it with a grain of salt. This was a dining reservationist on the phone. Could be like listening to a bus driver about new attractions...
