Disney elephants are so lucky they get to live at Disney World. I wish all elephants lived in Disney World!! :sohappy::sohappy:

The newborn baby elephant (now named Luna) has begun to make appearances on the Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna. She was out for the first time for about 30 minutes yesterday morning with her mother. For the next little while, she'll be out with her mother and other female elephants off and on to acclimate herself to the show savanna. Note that there is no guarantee on whether or not you'll see her at any particular time on any particular day.

By the way, she's freakin' adorable, and looks incredibly tiny next to her mom.

Great news! Looks like lots of babies at AK this year. I know we had the baby gorilla back in February (?) and was the baby rhino this year or last?

Apparently the animals get bored in a bad economy just like the rest of us. :ROFLOL:
