I've notice'd a few other people here are Aerosmith fans and was wondering who's going to see them this time around and where. I'll be seeing them 4/14 in Philly and hopefully 6/12 in Atlantic City.

This new album sounds promising...I like the blues feel to it. I saw them with KISS this past summer and thought that the 3 new songs they played were the best part of the entire show!

I will see this tour...speaking of new album...is there a release date yet?

I saw them on the "just push play" tour, at the Tweeter Center (or New World Music Theatre) in Tinley park, and they put on a great concert. it is an outdoor theatre, so there was lawn tickets, which we got. it was great, they set up a stage in the lawn, and came and did a set for us.

I also worked the show in champaign later that tour, and there was not a single person sitting down the entire time. they love their fans, the put on a great show.

I definatly want to see them again, I think they come to the chicago land area this summer.

WOOHOO!!! Sorry to bring a dead thread back to life but I just found out that Aerosmith is coming to Madison, WI (I live in Wisconsin) on May 8, 2004 and to Green Bay on April 24, 2004! (that's 4 days before my birthday, maybe it could be a birthday present)
Mark my words, I WILL go!
:D

Why say it like that? I saw Bon Jovi this summer with GooGoo Dolls and Sheryl Crow and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen!

I agree with you ---- Bon Jovi!!!!! Yum!!!!!!! Seen them in Atlanta last year from the 6th row (my sister was a fan club member).

Going to see Aerosmith on April 9th at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta. This will be the 5th time my 12 yr old has seen them. She and I met them back when they released their biography.
Met them in New York (my friend won a contest on the radio) for a record release party.

I love them!!!!

Kid Rock this Saturday!!!!

That is why I said it like that. You have to remember, that Bon Jovi came out in the early 80's and was considred part of the "Hair Band" craze. I always thought they were better than that and still like them very much today.

It is, however, because of Jon's dog-gone good looks, that the band is more associated with the ladies at present time and not seen as a very good rock-n-roll band. That is not my take, I still believe they rock and Ritchie is one of the better guitarists going (long live Eddie Van Halen).

The cd release date is somewhere around the 30th of march.

As for me, i saw them with kiss at Bonner Springs, since the new dates suck, i may not be seeing them this year. A unreliable source told be there will be a second leg with the more popular shows on it, but rather that hold to be true or not, i do not know.
Did anyone notice that there is no california shows? Thats what leads me to think a second leg will appear, but anything could happen.

Does anyone know if their new tour will only have songs from their new CD? I hope not, I really want to hear the classics too

I can guarantee that there will be more than the new stuff. They'll play a mix of everything but focus on the new album. Trust me, you'll hear the "Sweet Emotion", "Dream On", and "Toys In the Attic" :D

(And, they'll close it out with Walk this Way ;) )

How could I pass up this thread without posting?

I wouldn't expect to hear Dude but maybe Love. I have a feeling they're gonna be going for songs with bluesier rythyms to keep the show consistent. Plus, they almost always do those songs and word has it this tour will try to focus on songs not normally heard (which is defenitely a good thing).

I'm hoping to go the Orlando show in April but like I told Kevin, the major rumor (all but confirmed now) is that Van Halen's reunion tour with Sammy is this summer and if I can only go to one concert I think I'd pick VH. We'll see, though.

Hey Gucci, I was at the Atlanta Bon Jovi show too. I was 5 rows from the top though :( but it was still an awesome show. Goo Goo Dolls put on a really good performance too but I'd like to one day see them at a show where they're headlining.

STEAMBOAT KEVIN - You can go to Aeroforceone.com and pull up a set list after the tour starts. (Atl tix go on sale tonight!!!! - keep your fingers crossed for me (for excellent seats))!!!

WANABEIMAGINEER - JBJ w/ Goo Goo Dolls was an excellent show. My sister belongs to the JBJ fan club that's why we had such good seats. That will never happen again though, the fan club is disolving this year. The only way I'd be able to get tickets like that again would be thru a broker and no way would I pay their prices!!!
