It seems like no matter when my trip is during F&W we always end up with a crappy act. Would much rather see the Go-Gos than Dennis DeYoung or the Voodoo Daddy people.

I saw Sugar Ray last year. They were good!

Was surprised by how much I liked the show. Ended up going back to see them the next night. The lead singer just oozes charisma, makes the show even better than the music (which was still very good in its own right).

I'll give Dennis DeYoung some respect. His voice still holds up 30 years past his heyday in Styx, and he flat out said "Yeah, Disney told me to sing Come Sail Away three times tonight, but that's boring, how about I do something you haven't heard yet?".

If you haven't seen the Go-Go's, you won't be disappointed!

The do all of their best known songs and throw in a cover you wouldn't expect....in past few years they did the Rolling Stone's 'Mother's Little Helper' and last years' summer sing along, 'Call Me Maybe'....

If all goes well, I will be there for their two nights....

Disappointed that I missed Billy Ocean and Howard Jones the past few years, and now they aren't on the schedule. Dang inflexible kid's school schedules!

I saw Sugar Ray a few years ago, and was really surprised at what a good show they put on, and Mark McGrath seemed to genuinely enjoy performing at WDW, I seem to recall that he said he used to go a lot with his mother.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was a good act! Go watch Swingers to get ready for it. :D

I totally enjoyed BBVD, and I never even saw Swingers! My husband has a couple of their CDs.

Oh, I am so tempted...I might just have to run over to dvcmember.com and see if there are rooms available. I would love to see them!

Edited to add: Rooms available at SSR, OKW, and AKL for long weekend Saturday-Tuesday, and airfare's only $208. AUGH. I'm not sure whether I want to be talked out of or into doing this!

Same here, really disappointed to have missed Howard Jones. I'm not beholden to school schedules at all, but last year had already booked F&W trip before the concert schedule came out.
