I will be there for Sister Hazel for sure. A few years ago we took our daughter for the first time and she held up a sign that read "This is my first Sister Hazel Concert and my dad is missing the Florida/Georgia game." Drew read it out loud and my daughter became a mini-star for the rest of the shows.

I booked a trip for F&W a few weeks ago and the Go Gos will be performing two of the days of my trip! They are the only group I'm excited about on the list. I just may be spending half of each day watching the Go Gos in Epcot while eating tasty treats.

My mother, expert in all things 80s, just told me that the theme was actually sang by someone named Joey Scarbury but I saw Cross sing this at a show years ago. I always thought it was his. Well, my bad. He still puts on a good performance.

We saw Hanson last year, could not believe the crowd that was there. Twenty somethings, mainly girls, waiting in line to get front seats. People singing and dancing to all their songs. I guess they have a pretty big following.

On March 8, 2013, the Go-Go’s parted ways with bassist Kathy Valentine, citing creative differences. The rest of the lineup, original since 1979 (Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock and Jane Wiedlin) remains intact.

I guess they have a Daryl Jones situation. Woulda been cool to see the 80's lineup!

Edited to add: Rooms available at SSR, OKW, and AKL for long weekend Saturday-Tuesday, and airfare's only $208. AUGH. I'm not sure whether I want to be talked out of or into doing this!
