sorry "vet" next time i'll just nod my head and agree with you. all i'm saying is when you dismissed the act as "horrible" and said they "suck" i found it a shallow review of them at best. regardless of post count i can disagree and debate; it happens.

this is honestly all i'm trying to say, and i agree, if they were the original i am willing to bet they would be the ones missed.

Then agree to disagree w/o being condescending. I never said you can't disagree, but I also have opinions that aren't "shallow" as you'd like to refer to it. I call it like I see it (with acts etc).

And don't try to twist it now. You weren't here for debate originally, you were here to hear no other opinions but your own. Now agree to disagree and move along.

I truly love Off Kilter, but at this point, I believe they aren't coming back. They are happily doing music on their own terms, just released a new CD titled One More Time, had an amazing CD release party that I attended, doing local gigs at Universal and of course still doing various Irish Fests across the country. Three out of the five members that played at the park have full time jobs outside of the band. I cant imagine anyone giving up a full time job with benefits for their families, steady paycheck etc. to go back to a gig that they know could be a very temporary thing. I am happy catching the band as I can and supporting all of the members in various incarnations onsite such as Jason and Billy at Port Orleans French Quarter's lounge, Scat Cats and Alberta Bound in the Canadian Pavilion. Some acts are being cycled in and out such as in the UK Pavilion with the Paul McKenna group followed by the new act, I think the name is Dubstep. Both were good but don't seem to connect with the audiences. Morocco's stage is still empty which is sad, so I certainly don't think this is limited to the Canadian Pavilion. Marie

I was a big fan of OK, but do agree the Lumberjacks were facing an uphill climb to replace a well-established, well-liked act. I would bet if the Lumberjacks were a long time act, people would be upset when they got replaced too.
I am sure @SeanWM48 is not the only one who liked them, and he or she pointed out they were talented at what they did.
The early Beatles act, when they would come out in different era outfits for each show, was one of our favorites. It had staying power and we used to catch that act several times a day. The show there now we will watch once per trip at most.
Yeah, when I think of the UK and music, I think of The Beatles first, then the Stones or Elton, Floyd ; but the new guys cranking out Duran Duran....meh.
