Depression 18 has become trouble storm Rita. Its also not often we get to R.
We may run out of letters this year.

Yep, it's been a crazy year and we're supposedly in for more years like this. Thankfully we've all been fortunate since Katrina, but it looks as though Rita will hit someone somewhere.

Yep, it's been a crazy year and we're supposedly in for more years like this.

I remember hearing that last year with all the hits Florida took. From what I read, there was a 50-some year lull, but it was predicted the storms would pick up. Unfortunately, so far, it looks like they were right.

We got that announcement on the UK news at about 0100 this morning (2000hrs Florida time) - its looking serious.

It's a normal cycle we go through. The 30's, 40's, and 50's were like this as well. Very active.
