I'll tell you what's wrong with that. It's a cartoon rendered in 3-D real life style. So it's got a creepy Uncanny Valley vibe to it. If I'm not mistaken this is the first time we're seeing a human cartoon character in 3-D as a real life character with all of those cartoonish exagerations.
She looks better in person, when she is moving.
It would have been nice to have seen what WDI would have done designing this figure on their own instead of contracting the work out to Garner Holt.
Thus why i think some of the recent AAs do not look....*correct*...when compared to their cartoon counterparts.
Garner does great work....but WDI was king when it came to AA design.
Hey, I'll still give her some love. I get puffy when I'm underwater too. At least she isn't all wrinkly...
Puffiness aside, the Imagineers still do a fantastic job turning any animated picture into a life like figure.
