Dizknee-Phreek, I(and my family, except my teenage daughter) also bring 2 hats if rain is predicted(most days from june-september.) One is my sun hat, the other my rain hat. If you put a baseball type hat OVER your poncho hood, it 1. keeps it form blowing back off your head 2.shields your face so you can see 3. makes it easier to spot family members in a sea of ponchos 5. makes you look like a dork, but a comfortable dork!

Obviously, this is reserved for those torrential downpours!

Funny, but I have never worn a poncho in the parks. Number one I would never carry one, number 2, you really don't need one, you can get to most places in the parks via indoors (IE, walking through the shops in MK or MGM) AK and EPCOT are harder, but if you realize the rain in Orlando is pretty much like clockwork (1PM just about everyday) you can avoid those times. Or, as me and my brother do, if you get caught in the rain....get wet.

Sorry, just a personal feeling on the matter...I can;t stand looking like a real tourist:D:D

THe 14 channels & 38 codes result in over 532 different combinations.

..and you would think that would be enough but we use them when we go and about 50 percent of the time we end up hearing someone else. Ours have a scramble feature to them though which means that when we talk, only the ones set with our code can understand what we are saying. It sounds like someone talking over a fast food drive through in another language to everyone else though.

I don't bring anything other than my ticket. I don't know about the rest of you guys but i don't wanna be bothered with carrying around stuff. I enjoy myself the most when i'm not worried about losing my hat on TOT or preoccupied with getting a picture of Spaceship Earth.

I bring my wallet... it carries my card, which is my ticket/charge card/& room key. Plus I have money & ID (which ain't gonna do me too good since I'm under 21...:( ). The wallet stays in a zippered or buttoned pocket & the only other thing I have is the map.

I collect maps too....but....here is the kicker, I like collecting maps in languages I have no clue how to read. You want some humor while waiting in a line, read some of the attractions and their descriptions in German or Portugese. (Not making fun of those laanguages, don;t get me wrong, but some of them just sound really funny....:D:D)

I hate carrying those two way radios around but they are important. One time I was in Epcot with someone walking through future world to the front of the park to leave. When I got to the leave a legacy area I turned to say something to them and they were gone. I looked around for 20 minutes and then figured I should head out to the car. I thought that if nothing else, that's where we were both going and I would meet her there but she didn't show so I went back through the gates and scanned my way through the marble area to make sure I didn't pass here. I found her out in front of the Art of Disney store, waiting/looking for me. I've been to all of those parks more times than I can remember and I've never gotten lost or separated from my party before that and it was terrifying. The radios are a pain but the only thing terrifying about them is the price I have to pay for all the AAA batteries since I forget to turn them off every single time. Now, every time I go with someone, I always take them. Even when we are just going to the World of Disney store they come in handy...

oh my goodness...don't even get me started on the World of Disney!!! that place is worse than Wal-Mart!!! every time my family goes to Wal-Mart we always go our seperate ways (dad usually goes to the toys *yes, toys* or electronics, and mom usualy to the groceries) once mom's gone, she's gone! you'll never find her!! i swear, when it's just me and her, i'll go somewhere and she'll go to groceries, and she'll tell me to meet her there...once i get there, i walk up and down the isles like 3 or 4 times and i STILL won't find her! and the World of Disney is JUST like that!! only worse because there's a LOT more people! and mom's short, so she could be standing behind some clothes, and you'd never see her! lol! so yes, i imagine the radios DO come in handy at that store! ...maybe i should consider taking them to Wal-Mart next time i go with mom.
