Nervous about Nov 27th MK crowds

We are going to MK on Nov 27th, and I am really nervous crowds will be bad. Are the crowds as bad as summer or a little lighter?

Anyone go during this weekend in the past?

The days around Thanksgiving are extremely busy, pretty close to a maximum. The only days that top this period for crowds are New years Eve, July 4, and sometimes Easter. It will more than likely be busier than the summer.

Sorry, but I would be nervous too. As a result of past experience, I usually avoid the parks on that weekend.

a lot of stores have huge sales the weekend after thanksgiving. maybe that will take some people out of the parks. But it looks like it will be pretty busy. I'm sure with proper Disney common sense of EMH and Fastpass you should be able to get your favorites accomplished. Hope you have a good time!

It is normally very crowded because usually that is when all the Holiday celebrations are in full gear, but it looks like they are getting an earlier start this year

What about 5 to 6 days before Thanksgiving?

We have gone the past 3 years in a row....we leave the Saturday right before Thanksgiving...and come the Saturday right after. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are not bad....not bad at all. Come Wednesday (this year the 24th) there is not one doubt in my mind the crowds will be 9 or 10's out of 10. It is packed! MK will be the most packed on Thanksgiving Day itself (it is normally anyways) - we are doing Thanksgiving at Epcot and I know it will be packed HOWEVER it's a blast! Watching the people, seeing what goes on..the park decorations and such - it's wonderful! That's just my opinion. Plus if you have a good touring plan, that helps oodles!:wave::xmas: We are also taking some time out of our day to go out the 'back end' of Epcot and walk the resorts. I hear one of them has a chocolate carousel!!!:sohappy:

Disney are expecting peek crowds between 21 and 27 Nov 2010 (inclusive).

Bummer I had a feeling. Unfortunately since my vacation time was taken due to my husband being in the hospital for 18 days this year this was the only time we could go. I guess we will make the best of it.
