Well, after a quick trip to BGT in the morning to ride SheiKra (fantastic ride, BTW), I dropped into WDW for a couple hours. The weather was terrible of course (especially after 7), but the crowds weren't too bad.

We'll start at the MK....

The cobwebs are still there....

It hasn't even been open for a year and it's already pulling AE wait times....

Astro Orbiter planets are spinning once again. :sohappy:

This has gone from being a shop, to a food stand, to nothing, and to a shop once again....

Well I certainly hope that the SRL at Soarin is up soon. I'd love to be able to ride it more than once

Make sure to clairify that there is a big difference between 95-99 AE wait times and 2002 & 2003 AE wait times ;). SGE should still have long queues, if nothing else because this is it's first summer of operation. What time of the day was the line that short and how crowded was the rest of the park in comparison? I'm sure it will be crowded in July.........won't it?

I was told by a CM while there the last week of May and they said the Single line would not open. Take it for what it is. That is a lot of wasted space taken up with the line...

Eventually they will run single rider.... why have coperate spend so much money on it and not use it??

maybe next year once they figure out how to use it??

I would venture a guess that since the ride is a "theater arrangement" (like Philharmagic) rather than a "car arrangement" with different arrival and departures (like TT), the single-rider line was a mistake. Seating in a different row is not an issue for most people in that configuration so the single rider line may only be able to populate one per theater per showing.

You mean that it would never open up? Well you would think that Disney would be pretty familiar with the ride system over at DCA and would be able to tell if a SRL would be "do-able".

Thanks for the update and photos - shame about the rain. EE is looking great. I'm amazed at some of the angles that the track twists around and near vertical drops

Great update! Man is it great to see Astro Orbiter's planets spinning again. And it looks like they aren't bothering to clean up Stitch! Its also great to see that its not pulling many crowds in anymore.
