re: "So the castle crane is now gone??? Are they only bringing it out at night now maybe??"

No, the crane is still there. I noticed that it was lowered behind Cinderella Castle so that all that you would see is the green wall that it is behind.

Seriously, this is the most construction that I have ever seen at MK:

(1) Monorail Station @ MK,
(2) MK Front Gate,
(3) Castle Hub area,
(4) Crane behind Cinderella Castle,
(5) 20k landfill,
(6) Dumbo,
(6) IASW,
(7) Astro Orbiter,
(8) Tomorrowland Terrace (to become Noodle House)

Did I miss any other construction in the MK?

Thanks for the update. Nice to see things getting repaired and cleaned up. Unfortunately all at once, but I guess sometimes things just need to be that way. Soarin' is still somewhat of an Eye Soar, but not as bad. The windows in there make it stick out again. I thought they were trying to prevent that from being the Canada backdrop and making it that bue to have it fit in.

(8) Liberty Belle Riverboat (rides closed not sure about any walls)
(9) ?

They should have painted it green and brown.. then they could have called it Pilot Mound from Manitoba, Canada :D

Pilot Mound! Hilarious! Great idea! Send that one in!!

By the way, I still don't have a clear idea of that the hub construction is for. Just for "Cindarellabration," I guess. And the construction at the MK gates is only to install the new turnstyles, right?

Great pictures Nemo, I'd have some too, but the camera is in the shop. Oh well. I'm going to add in my tiny update as well in here if you don't mind, since I don't have pictures.

It's funny, but I was walking by the WOL right when the janitorial staff started spraying the windows on the building, sat their in my Stitch ears, and admired the effort they were putting forward. You must have not been too far away at the time, I guess.

Magic Kingdom/TTC:
-The two construction walls at the TTC (apparently touch screen ticket machines?) now have a canopy over both.

-Magic Kingdom now has construction walls on some turnstiles on the far right hand side adjacent to Guest Relations. The center of the construction walls, as seen in Nemo's pictures, now have the planter. The other two walls in the center are nearing completion.

-Tables in the upper level of The Plaza Pavilion have been removed.

-Small construction wall by one of the water fountain structures in the hub adjacent to the castle.

Epcot:
-The Land, as seen in Nemo's Pictures, busy as always.

-They were doing Character Meet and Greets at the "Center of WDW" area in front of the Land construction walls and between the Innoventions passageway. The Fab Five, Pinnochio Characters, and others. I suppose to maintain good show while construction is commencing, as well as crowd control.

-Construction walls are up on the back side of Innoventions West near Imagination. From the monorail, there's a wooden structure on the ground level.

-ALL of the bag check lines now have four turnstiles from what I saw. There are no more construction walls at the booths or turnstiles.

MGM:
-The Chicken Little balloon is back

-Construction is complete on the facade addition to the Rockin' Roller Coaster Building that I reported on last update

-Land balloons are not in the Backlot's shop.

-Construction walls are still up at the Honey I Shrunk the Audience Playground.

Other:
-Guest of Honor Nametags are back (after about three-four months).

-If you've seen the "Earing My Mouse Ears" Ribbon on some CMs, the Hong Kong CMs have a HUGE red ribbon compared to those.

-Construction walls outside parts of the Polynesian and Yacht/Beach Club. Looks to be done with painting the Contemporary.

-The Frontierland Trading Post and the Town Square Exposition Hall Cast Members that I spoke with gave me a whole run around about the 20K Pin. One lady at Town Hall said she had never heard about it, so I asked her to ask another one of her fellow CMs if they knew if they had any and she just shrugged me off.

What I was more angered by was that the Town Square Exposition Hall CM had two other CMs right there next to her behind the counter. Neither of them stepped in when she shrugged me off. None of them told me to check Frontierland Trading Post or the Disney Marketplace.

The Frontierland CM I asked was also clueless as well about it. She walked me over to the Limited Edition rack and said sorry, I guess they were gone. Never even heard about the pin. I would think you would pick employees who know a thing or two, or at least require them to know their inventory. And don't give me the song and dance about going over to the Limited Edition rack. I kind of figured that would be the first place to check. Just tell me if you have it or not. Don't play stupid.

There was an abundance of 20K pins at the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

And that there was....I picked mine up Saturday night and was surprised to see that many there.

On another note, if anyone is still looking for the Carousel of Progress pin, the Frontierland Trading Post had quite a few available. The Tomorrowland Pin Cart didn't have them though, and I never did check the Exposition Hall.

WONDERS OF LIFE BEING CLEANED?

GOOD!

It's only cleaning but I want to know if it's routine or if something is happening!

Fantastic Photos! Enough said I think! :sohappy:

Can anyone confirm from a reliable source that WoL is indeed being cleaned and not disassembled? I can tell that there was water being used and tiles missing, but are we sure it was being "cleaned" and not taken apart?

I sat there and watched the guy clean....it's definitely not coming down (right now at least).

Alright thanks! I was hoping we weren't witnessing a new "Horizons" take place without being told about it. It looks like there might be a good future for WoL if they are actually putting some time into it. Thanks again for the update!
