Any touring tips on getting a sub ride w/o waiting 2 hrs in line?

Have the crowds died any on the wait and is first thing in the morning still the best chance to ride? How about during parade or Fantasmic?

Also, any soft opening info on Toy Story Mania? Any chance we'll see it open in March?

I've been seeing an hour wait for it. And that's when the parks have been pretty packed. I guess you could still go first thing in the morning to avoid a wait...that'll be your best bet.

We went 1st thing in the morning and it was already at 2 hrs.....we went by later in the afternoon and it was down to 1/2 hour. The CM there told me it ebbs and flows and has slow times after the morning rush.

So I guess if the wait looks too long, try back later......

And don't think you can take the monorail into the park thinking that will be quidker. We made that mistake, but they wouldn't just let us get in line, we still had to go all the way around the matterhorn so that by the time we got in line there was already a 45 minute wait. Oh, well. We learned our lesson.

After 9 pm it's usually pretty short. We only waited about 25 minutes. It goes pretty quick since they dispatch in wolf packs. Also keep in mind that the old subs queue area is now the grouping area. So once you pass under the sign you're almost on board.

When are you going? last week it wasnt that bad about an hour wait @9:30pm and Im guessing this week can only mean better.

We'll be going March 16-20, the Sunday-Thurs before Easter, so I'm guessing each day will see an increase in crowds. We've been to WDW at Christmas so we can handle to crowds.

We'll be staying at DL Hotel. How does the monorail from the hotel work? I know you board at DD, but where do you get off, Tomorrowland?

^ The TL monorail station is right above the Nemo Sub station, lol hopefully the monorails are back to better operation they looked like they were last week but word has it that one is leaving the park soon but hey maybe you'll get to ride the new red one.

On the other hand the line does keep moving for most of the line. It moves in big sections. and u o get a pretty good ride time for what you waited for.
