I'm so sorry it's been a rough month. We had a stretch from May 2011 through August 2012 that was just awful...in fact, still dealing from some of the aftermath from it. It got so bad that my old supervisor had actually asked me to try burning some sage b/c she was convinced I was being followed by an evil spirit. And of course some of the worst issues hit just when I was thinking things were finally improving or that things couldn't get any worse. The worst- driving home from soccer on a Saturday and thinking "wow, things look like they're finally turning around." Within seconds of that thought, DH's phone rang and a massive fire had broken out at our side business.
I think it's part of why I've embraced Disney trip planning... planning for the magic of the future helped me with the struggles of the present. I did at least have a little bit of Disney humor for the day that might make you smile. Since we're considering a quick trip for MNSSHP, my coworkers started trying to help me come up with costume ideas...and let's just say you learn alot about people when they make such suggestions. It was all in fun, but still...
1. I was told I would make a pretty good Captain Hook...really? Apparently, my hair- when curly- is "Hook-ish."
2. I was thinking my girls might embrace a Star Wars theme - one Leia and one Padme... and then my friend said I could play Chewbacca. So, I went from a male pirate to a wookie!
3. I thought we could play the 3 good fairies from Sleeping Beauty, but I've been informed that I'm much better suited for being Maleficent. Nice. Granted, they know I like Maleficent...as far as villains go, but still!
I'll spare you the Snow White and Mary Poppins battles (something about not making your children dwarfs or soot covered chimney sweeps- while you're all pretty), but hopefully this gives you a laugh.

Plus, since it is DIsney related, I actually don't hate the ideas...behold the power of Disney magic!!!
