Needing a little dose of the magic

Having a really rough week, even month. Daughter has been sick for over 10 days straight. On second round of antibiotics b/c the first round didn't work. Husband has a torn muscle in his back and is unable to do much but complain, and I am fighting a sinus infection. So needless to say I need a little dose of magic. Disney magic. Something that makes me smile. Feel free to post your happiest moments, pics, or any little dose of magic. Thanks in advance....

My daughter at 4 thinks she knows what is best and repeatedly tells me I don't know what I am talking about especially when it comes to her medicine. Add whiny and emotional to us both and a husband who I know is hurting but is absolutely no help with anything and it is just beyond overwhelming. Cannot wait until SPRING!!!!!!!!!!! In the meantime, dreaming of all the fun Disney time we will have in September will have to get me through.

I feel sorry for her too and that is the only thing keeping me from SCREAMING at the top of my lungs right now. All she wants is to feel better and to make her momma happy. She is just highly opinionated (wonder where she gets it from ) and when you put the two of us in a house for 2 weeks straight with only leaving to go to the doctor, things get a little hairy. Nothing a little DISNEY MAGIC can't cure.

Sorry to hear that you are having a rough month. It is time for some serious visualization therapy:
Close your eyes, breathe deep, exhale. Now, imagine that you can feel the soft breezes across your skin as it whispers through the palm trees, the warm sun on your face, the soft white sand under your feet. Now, imagine that you are on the beach at the poly (sunset point) overlooking the seven seas lagoon towards the MK. The day is bright and sunny in the 80s and you have no where else on earth that you need or want to be. You can hear the horn of the ferry as it takes guests to and from the most magical place on earth. You can hear children happily playing in the pool in the distance. All as you are quietly sipping a tropical drink from your pineapple. You have no care in the world as you watch the puffy clouds float across the tropical blue sky. Your daughter is well and happily playing at the pool with your DH, whose back is healed. He has volunteered to take over the role of caregiver so that you can have a wonderfully relaxed afternoon just for you. You have dinner ressies at O'hana. Now, breathe in, exhale .... isn't that better!

OOOO!! I didn't realize she was that sick! Quick she needs some Disney!!
She was begging for me to put in Monsters, Inc and 101 Dalmations earlier. I avoided it b/c I hate the PS3 which serves as our DVD player in the living room. I HATE that blasted thing! Will use them as a lure to get her to go lay down and rest in a little while. She is one of those type of kids she can be running 103 temp and refuses to lay down for any extended period of time.

She was sick her entire first trip and made it through 10 hour days each day we were there. She puked 3 out of the 5 nights we were there from sinus drainage. And she had a ball!!!! My parents think they are gonna get her to go back to the hotel and nap on this trip. HAHAHAHAH. Yeah right! Cadence stopped napping at 18 months too. If she did lay down in the afternoon she would sleep for 10 hours and wake up at like 2AM raring to go!
