Need to recharge?

I ran into this issue a couple weeks ago. There were all sorts of open outlets at Pecos Bills in the dining room. I charged for about 30-45 minutes while we at lunch - phone still died though - i need a better battery and/or to stop taking so many photos

This reminds me of my friend when she and her family was at Disneyland years back. She claimed that while they were eating at some eaterie that a CM asked her dad to unplug his camcorder as he was trying to charge it because supposedly it would interfere with a parade. I never heard of that and wonder if it was really true. Maybe it was a tripping hazard but her dad finally caved and unplugged after the CM nagged long enough, but plugged it back up as soon as he left.

And I bet all the parade floats totally went off course and crashed into said eatery, which was probably well back from the street. Characters screaming and tripping into a big pile up, losing their shirts, pants, hats, dresses, and then the worst...their tails and heads! Total carnage! Right? And all because of a short camcorder cord... ;)

They sell cases for the IPhone that actually can charge your phone when it's running low. I didn't use it in Disney but at relay for life and after about like 10 hours of being in the sun and my parents calling me (every hour on the half hour, this was two years ago :p) I used that and it gave my phone a full charge for the next day. It was worth the 80 bucks, I bring it with us whenever we go to Disney now I've just never had to use it.

Haha. You would think that by the way the CM was going on about it according to my friend, but who knows the real reason.

Guess I'm old school and don't really use my phone when at the parks. Though there are outlets you can use all over the park, most are near the bathrooms or in dining rooms.... happy outlet hunting .

The only time we carry a cell phone is when we want to take pictures or a member of our party is traveling. Other than those 2 reasons ,we leave the phones in the room. We are on vacation. Nobody that important to that can't wait.
