Where can I find books on vintage Mickey collectibles? My Fiancé and i recently ought his Grandmothers house and he inherited her Mickey Mouse collection. We don't know where to start. I have had to box up 6 Hutches Full of figurines because the hutches are being auctioned in her estate sale. Needless to say she's been collecting for many many years. We are OVERWHELMED! There is so much we can't keep it all. Anyone have any ideas? She has everything from early years to present. I'm drowning in Mickey Mouse.

Those pictures are just an example of some of the stuff she has. Our basement is stacked from floor to ceiling with items she didn't display and the majority is still in its original boxes

Wow that is quite a collection! You may want to start buy checking online with sites like ebay and etsy! If you plan on selling some of the items these two sites will at least give you a small idea of how much to charge.

Thank you. I have used ebay to match up the wrist watches with the original boxes they came in. Is there such a thing as a Ebay broker?? An appraiser said he could do it but is gonna charge us $75 an hr. Wayyyy to many things for that price.

I only use ebay to buy things I probably don't need  so I do not know if they do have an "ebay broker". I think your best bet would be to find a specialist or continue using the internet to look up items! Maybe there's a book on appraising Disney-ana :)

Northern indiana. It's all gonna go except for few pieces in honor of grandma. I've got TONS more then then what is in the pictures. We are not in any hurry to sell the stuff off. Figured she's collected for years and we aren't gonna sell it over night. My email is ima_lady_not@icloud.com

Gonna sell majority on ebay. Once I can find a book so I have an idea of the value. Some of the tin wind up toys are going to go in a local vintage toy auction.

That's great. Please do leave a link for some of us collectors when it goes up, and best of luck finding that book! :)

Will absolutely do a link as long as I wont get in trouble on here for posting it. I'm new to this sight and not sure of all the rules yet.

Price isn't actually an issue but we aren't gonna give it away either. Would much rather sell it to collectors who LOVE it and appreciate it as much as grams did
I would LOVE to have some of this. Does you happen to have a vintage mickey watch with his hands as the "hands"?

There is a book you can buy on Ebay called "Disneyana" published in 2007 it lists a lot of Disney stuff with their values, the book costs about $ 10 , here is a picture of it. Be very careful of brokers, they will under value stuff, they are in it only for their profit.
