Does anyone have info on surrey bikes at Wilderness Lodge... where do you go to rent them, the hours, where do you get to ride, how long is the rental for, how many people per bike, etc. ?

It's at Teton Boat and Bike Rental. They open early - I want to say 9:00 or 10:00. You can rent single bikes, or 2 or 4 person surrey bikes. The cost is like $20 for 30 minutes.

We did this at Boardwalk. I don't know if our bike was broken or what, but it was not enjoyable. Going up the hills took all the energy we had. Granted, it was 90 degrees out, but still, it was VERY difficult. We went all the way around once, and turned the bike in. We're not body builders, but certainly not in bad shape. It was just very difficult to pedal.

We've done both. The trail at WL is flat, so it was much easier. Also, most of it goes through the woods, so we didn't have to deal with a lot of pedestrians, and it was shady. We saw deer along the path, along with a snake. It ends near the Campground stables, and ?the petting zoo. All in all, a more enjoyable ride.

I also think it might open earlier than 9, but perhaps I'm just remembering my morning walks.

Thanks for the info. We have rented a 4 seater twice at the Boardwalk. The four of us could hardly pedal up the bridge inclines, but we also laughed 'til we cried trying. Wilderness sounds like an easier ride. Yeah!

Never did the Boardwalk, but did WL. The WL rental was easy and I pedaled one by myself and took my 5 year old all the way to Ft.W. and back. Nice ride if the weather is nice. See plenty of wildlife and the occasional jogger.

That sounds like us. It was me and my wife trying to pedal us and our 3 kids. We were laughuing hysterically at what a couple of wimps we looked like. Some nice onlooker was kind enough to get behind us and push us up one of the hills.
